Webinar Transcript: ChartPath Lunch & Learn

Alexis Villazon (Head of Marketing, ChartPath):
Welcome, everyone, and thank you for joining our second Lunch & Learn. I’m Alexis, Head of Marketing here at ChartPath.

Before we dive in, just a few quick tips:
On your screen, you’ll see the main components for today—our presentation, a Q&A window, and a survey. Each window is movable and resizable, so set it up however you’d like.

  • Use the Q&A window to send in questions for our speaker or flag any technical issues.

  • Use the survey window to share feedback and request more info about ChartPath Solutions.

  • The toolbar at the bottom has a Resources icon—you can download today’s slides and access other helpful materials there.

One last note: today’s session is being recorded. You’ll receive a link tomorrow so you can rewatch or share it with your team.

Now, a little context before we begin. ChartPath is part of LiveTech, a company dedicated to building real-world solutions for senior care providers—everything from skilled nursing facilities to assisted living and home care. LiveTech offers tools for EHRs, billing, visit verification, and more—all designed to streamline operations and improve outcomes for aging adults.

ChartPath’s role in that mission? We’ve built an EHR designed specifically for providers rounding in skilled nursing and post-acute care. Our focus is making documentation faster, billing cleaner, and compliance less of a headache—so clinicians can spend more time on patient care, not clicks.

I’m excited to introduce our speaker: Allison Gifford, Family Nurse Practitioner and Director of Implementations at ChartPath. Allison has over a decade of experience across long-term care, family medicine, and healthcare technology. She’s led EHR rollouts, designed documentation standards, and trained countless providers on how to chart smarter. Her goal is simple: make the tools fit the way you actually work.

Allison, take it away.

Allison Gifford (FNP, Director of Implementations, ChartPath):
Thanks, Alexis. Hi everyone—so glad you’re here.

I’ll be walking you through ChartBlaze, one of my favorite features inside ChartPath. Having worked in compliance, coding, and as a nurse practitioner, I know the documentation struggle firsthand. Nobody wants to round all day and then chart all night. That’s where ChartBlaze comes in.

ChartBlaze uses “snippets” (or Snips) to simplify documentation. You can start with something simple, like typing .reg to instantly insert “Regulatory Visit” into the right section of your note. Or you can build more advanced automations, like having it pre-populate encounters, click checkboxes, or even generate structured assessments. Here are a few real-world examples:

  • Primary Care: Quickly insert standard visits, assessments, and lab orders without retyping the same text dozens of times.
  • Compliance: Automate fields for things like HRSN assessments or CCM minutes, while still staying fully HIPAA compliant.
  • Wound Care: Document detailed wound assessments with measurements, tunneling, exudate, and healing progress in just a few clicks.
  • Behavioral Health: Ensure DSM-5 criteria are documented correctly for diagnoses like major depression—without missing a single required symptom.

The beauty is flexibility: if you want basic shortcuts, ChartBlaze does that. If you need full assessments that integrate with billing and compliance reporting, it handles that too. And everything can be customized to fit your workflow. The end result? Notes that are thorough and compliant, but faster to create and easier to read—giving you back valuable time in your day.

Allison (closing):
I hope today’s demo gave you a good look at how ChartBlaze can save time and reduce the stress of documentation. Whether it’s primary care, wound care, or behavioral health, we want to help you work smarter—not longer.

Thank you for joining, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with feedback or questions. We’d love to hear from you.
